Don't get me wrong, fall sessions are absolutely stunning. But snowy sessions definitely have a piece of my heart. When Kaycee and Jonathan scheduled James' nine month milestone session, I knew the weather could be a huge factor given it was January. Was it going to be unbearably cold? A big snow storm? Even worse, an ice storm? With all that in mind, I just secretly hoped that it would be snowing or at the very least there would be snow covering the ground. Thankfully, no major snow or ice storms came. But what did come was the most beautiful January day with snow still covering the ground and the most stunning sunset.
With the snow and the stunning sunset, we were able to get some beautiful photos. The only thing we wish we could have gotten more of were photos of James by himself. But James had totally different plans. We were able to get a few before he decided that sitting all my himself was simply too lonely and not happening today. Being in mom or dad's arms was the best and happiest place to be!
